Subject	Help My 90' fairlady twin turbo Please!!!

Message	Hi i have just bought a nissan fairlady twin turbo auto 2+2. When i bought it the person told me it was running ruff. I never heard it running either. However when i got it home the spark plugs where black. And the battery was dead so put a new battery on and some new spark plugs and it starts no problem. However if i got the car in either park or neutral i can rev until i get to the redline however if im in drive it will go to 3500-4000rpm then it starts to flutter and will not let me go any quicker. It seems very strange. But hopefully someone can help me thanks all in advance.
